As I sit here in my son’s new apartment writing this, I think how blessed I am for family and friends in my life. My youngest son is hosting our Thanksgiving dinner this year.  Now that my children are grown they can share in these duties.  I always enjoyed hosting these big family gatherings but sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances he is having the dinner.

I look around and see so many families that don’t get along.  Children that don’t talk to parents, siblings that don’t talk with each other that I give thanks every day for my family. Even though everyone gets so busy with their lives we still come together to celebrate and give thanks together.

I also tell my children every chance I get that I love them.  That is not something I want to regret if something ever happens.

From my family to yours Happy Thanksgiving!
