RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS IN THE GROCERY STORE

I received this message from a friend of mine. She is a true example of what the spirit of Christmas means or for that matter what paying it forward means.  Here is her message:

Last night I stopped at the local grocers to pick up a few baking supplies, as I was standing in line, I heard the lady in front of me tell the cashier to tell her when she got to 80$ as that was all she had. She looked no different from anyone else, no poorer or richer. She left 4 items with the cashier that she could not afford. I told the cashier to punch the items up and I would gladly pay for them. Now it is a bag yourself place, the woman turned around and told the cashier these are not mine, the cashier told her that I had paid for them. The woman burst into tears, I told her not to cry and have a good holiday season. With a quick hug from her I left the store.

It cost me only about 20$, but I made someone so happy.

If you see this at the grocery store or any store at this or any time of the year, you will feel so much better for having been human. It is not charity, it is truly just helping someone out.

My mom always told me angels do actions through humans, last night I think I may have been that woman’s angel in human form.

Peace to all and please do try to pass it on.

Thank you Betty for your kindness when so many people are stressed about money at this time of year.

Namaste!
