I really don’t know how to approach this. I was in the emergency(ER) of a certain Ottawa hospital over the past 24 hours. We all go through it at one time in our lives, the long wait in the waiting room only to be called to sit in a cubicle or bed alone for another long wait…. alone……..
Most ER’s are the same; you have to see a triage nurse first before the long wait starts forever and a day in the waiting room. Well, while I was waiting I remembered some information that could be relevent so I went back to the triage nurse to tell her. I didn’t even have time to finish my first sentence when she blurts out “I don’t need to know everything, I only have a small space to write!”……. Hmmmmm…………
What if what I had to say was important enough to make a difference in whether or not I should be brought to the back immediately or not? However, she would have none of it as she waved me off.
I must have really interrupted a great conversation!!
Have a Great Day!!
