What is the common denominator with all of these diseases?
They are all conditions related to exposure to Electromagnetic Radiation.
What is Electromagnetic Radiation? In simple terms is the radiation that comes off of everything from power lines and cell towers to cell phones, TV’s and all our other lovely technology.
Electromagnetic radiation has been around since the birth of the universe; light is its most familiar form. Electric and magnetic fields are part of the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation which extends from static electric and magnetic fields, through radio-frequency and infrared radiation, to X-rays.

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity and depression
Some individuals report “hypersensitivity” to electric or magnetic fields. They ask whether aches and pains, headaches, depression, lethargy, sleeping disorders, and even convulsions and epileptic seizures could be associated with electromagnetic field exposure. There is little scientific evidence to support the idea of electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Recent Scandinavian studies found that individuals do not show consistent reactions under properly controlled conditions of electromagnetic field exposure. Nor is there any accepted biological mechanism to explain hypersensitivity. Research on this subject is difficult because many other subjective responses may be involved, apart from direct effects of fields themselves. More studies are continuing on the subject.– World Health Organization
The power lines and cell towers usually have warnings on them if they are high voltage towers, but the cell phones, TV’s and computers usually are minimal at most.
The problem may come when you have several of these items on in a small room. This will not affect everybody only after a long, long period of exposure. I always had a TV and stereo in my bedroom since I was a teenager. When I got married the stereo left the bedroom but a telephone and clock radio entered. Both were at the head of the bed on the night tables. My husband liked to watch TV in bed before going to sleep. Eventually I did get a very small stereo for the bedroom because I enjoyed listening to music while going to sleep. I put the stereo on my night table; it was very small. Of course eventually we got a VCR for the bedroom as well.
So let’s see a telephone, clock radio, TV, VCR, and stereo; 5 and I didn’t mention any cell phones that we brought in from time to time. At 18 I started getting migraines. By the time I was in my 30’s they were so bad I was going to the hospital to get relief. I was crying and screaming from the pain. At times I would get into a cycle and would wake up everyday for months with a headache. I am now on medication to prevent the migraines but there are those that break through as well as some morning headaches.
When I learned about the Electromagnetic Radiation I was also told about the bedroom. I was told to take everything out of my bedroom except for the essentials like the alarm clock. However, move the alarm clock away from my head. Move everything as far away from you as possible in the room.
I have taken everything out of my bedroom except for the phone which is no longer at head level. The same as the clock radio and my stereo has been moved to a small dresser behind the door at the other end of the room. That is all I have in my room now. Since then I have not had a headache upon waking up. I have also slept better than I have in years. And everyone knows how important sleep is for Fibromyalgia. When you sleep better you feel better. Hmmm, coincidence?
I do suggest you try it. Move all electronics out of the bedroom and move the alarm clock away from your head of the bed. Try and get anything left in the room as far as possible from you or out of the room all together and just leave the room for sleeping. See if it makes a difference in a few days.
Have a Great Day!
