LONELINESS

Have you ever felt loneliness?  True profound loneliness?

It tears at your heart and eats at your soul

You could be walking down the street and pass a stranger who smiles at you, and you smile back not knowing what is going on behind that smile.

People have 1000 facets and 1000 masks to cover along with the game of life.  However, under all that illusion once you strip away the masks and the costumes what do you really have?  When you are stripped down bare to the bone, exposed to the real YOU, not the Ego you, but what you truly feel in your heart.

It is pretty scary to actually be exposed to something you try to suppress because it is too hard to bear so you refuse to acknowledge its existence.  Until one day something happens and slap, there it is right in your face.  It hits you and boy does it sting.   Now your emotions go into overdrive.  All the feelings that have been bottled up for so long come pouring out and then some.

This is the time to express yourself.  Let the tears flow.  Get rid of that pent up UGLY energy.  Release it.  Verbalize it.  Write about it.  Writing about your emotions helps you to release any negative energy you have and helps you in the process of letting go of the emotion.  This, in turn, helps you lift that weight you feel on your heart.

A person can be with several people but still feel that sense of loneliness inside.  Yet, another person can be all alone at home, no one around but not be lonely.  Why?  The answer is Love.  Everyone needs love.  Love from family, friends, or partner but they have love in their life.  Without love there is an empty void in your heart that aches and throbs.  Love fills that void and soothes the aching heart and soon you feel a warmth inside you that fills your being.  You stand taller, you smile more, your eyes sparkle.  You are more magnetic and this feeling can be contagious.

Be authentic, drop the masks and illusions.  Open your heart to love from family, friends and your present or future partner.  No argument is worth risking the loss you feel in your heart.  Forgive.  The pain is not worth it.

Namaste!!
