The Greek philosopher Heraculutus compared the human body to a river. He said a river is a very mysterious thing. When you look at a river it looks the same to you in every second of its existence but in fact it’s not the same river. He said you cannot step into the same river twice because new water flows in all the time.
The human body is the same. If you understand your body as it really is, you would see that the real you can’t step into the same flesh and bones twice, because every second of your life your body is changing. You are renewing your body more rapidly, more spontaneously than you change your clothes. Just think about it for a minute. Not only the different processes in your body of eating, breathing, digestion, metabolism, elimination……, but the most fundamental one of all, the movement of consciousness.
See how easy it is to change your body, as a matter of fact you are doing it right now.
This is all happening on a, what I will say a non-conscious level because you are not always fully aware of what is happening every second in your body.
Change happens whether you want it to or not. You can embrace it and partake in the process and enjoy the journey, or you can resist change and stagnate. Your life will still change but the journey will be unpleasant at best. A change is for growth. It must happen for your spirit to grow.
Remember we are spirits living a human experience not humans living a spiritual experience.
Namaste!
